Wednesday morning, August 1st, our family loaded up early in the morning and said our last goodbye to our precious neighbors and dear friends and headed out of Tennessee. Moving is always so hard...Having to leave precious friends that have become family, leaving the home you have made, and the many questions of starting over in a new place are endless. The first couple of hours while driving I struggled wondering if we had made the right move, but then I remember how obviously every little detail has fallen into place making this move to Italy a bit easier. For that I am excited, knowing that God has a hand on us, guiding our steps.
Isaiah 30:21
And your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
After dropping my car off in St. Louis to be shipped, we made our first stop to visit Kendall's dads gravesite. Such a precious man, who is missed.
